In 2020, I put multi-day Pie Camps on hold. In 2023, I re-opened Art of the Pie Day Camps on a limited basis. And today, I am happy to announce that 4-Day In-Person Pie Camp® at Pie Cottage will return July 15-18, 2025!

What is Pie Camp at Pie Cottage?
Pie Camp® at Pie Cottage is a 4-day immersive pie-making experience with Kate McDermott. Below is an idea of what each day will hold.
Day 1
Arrive in Port Angeles Tuesday July 15 and settle in to your own lodging.
Then head to Pie Cottage, meet other pie makers from across the country, enjoy supper and a freshly baked pie made by Kate.
Bring a smile! That’s the most important ingredient of all!

How to Pay and Reserve Your Spot?
Tuition is $2150 US/per person
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. Remainder is due no later then 30-days before Pie Camp® begins.
A 5% discount is offered if you pay the full tuition in one payment.
In an effort to keep the price affordable, I’ll be accepting payments the old-school way via check so you won’t have to pay a big service charge that the online ticketing services charge. I also accept payment by Venmo.

Who is Kate and Where is Pie Cottage?
I’m the creator of Art of the Pie® and Pie Camp®. Since 2008 I have taught pie making both in-person and virtually to over 7,000 pie campers across North America. I am the author of three books, Art of the Pie: A Practical Guide to Homemade Crusts, Fillings, and Life (2016), Home Cooking with Kate McDermott (2018), Pie Camp: The Skills You Need to Make Any Pie You want (2020). In 2017 I received a James Beard Award Nomination for Art of the Pie.
Pie Cottage is in Port Angeles, WA which is west of Seattle on the north coast of the Olympic Peninsula and directly across from Victoria, British Columbia.
The Fine Print
Due to the unique preparations for Pie Camp® there are no refunds. This time is booked and reserved for you. If you are unable to come, you may transfer your place at the baking counter to another of your choice.
