Meet Bosco
The newest member of the Pie Cottage Crew is Bosco! He’s quite the gentleman and I thought you might enjoy a few words straight from him. 😉
Helloooz Everyone!
I’m Bosco! I’m four pawz…uh I mean four yearz old. My hoomans, who Iove me vewy much, needed to rehome me as I need more walkiez and rompz than they can do. Soooooz they asked my trainerz, Annie and Michael, if they wud helpz find a new home fur me. Annie and Michael knowz Kate vewy well and everyone thought it wudz be a verwy gud fitz. Sooooo last week I came to live at Kate’s house by the sea. I likes it here a lotz! We went through the big woodz and I saw the ocean for the verwy furst time. Itz soooooo big! I likes to play fetch with my new sister Kira who livez next door at Duncan and Olivia’s house. Duncan is vewy tallz and I’mz a little nervous around himz but mom sez that he’s nice and when he comes he gives me LOTZ of treats so maybe he’s ok. I like my new mom a lot. She tells me I look like a teddy bear but I’m a BernaDOOOOdle. 🐾
And nowz a few more wordz from my newz mom….
I am so grateful to Annie and Michael who made this happen.
And to Bosco’s “hoomans” Emily and Chris, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know how hard it is to give up a family member but know that Mr B will always be our dog.
What I’m Reading
Travels with Charley by John Steinbeck (1962)
It’s been quite a while since I read this book, but as Bosco is half poodle I thought it a good one to dip into again. If you haven’t read it, it’s the story of Steinbeck driving across the country with his French poodle, Charley, the places he goes, the people he meets and unexpected kindness.
What I’m Reading
How Much is That Doggie in the Window
Something that you can do for me is to heart ❤️ this post. It not only lets me know that you are stopping by but this really helps my ratings on Substack, too. Thank you from Bosco and me!
