Glad you are all well. That is a lot of snow! I’m visiting my daughter in NY. We are just east of Lake Ontario and we have a fraction of what you have. Since my home base is Texas, I’m thrilled with any amount of snow. Happy New Year to you and your family!❤️

That's quite something... to take the activity of a day, a special day, and move it to another. Suddenly we realize how precious are certain rituals. Rituals that become rote until shaken up. My son was also ill-- and lives a 7 minutes drive away. We dropped off stockings in the a.m. (yes, that Santa thing still happens here!), and turkey dinner later. But it did altogether leave me thinking: how wonderful are the simple years.
