I also just wanted to add my support for your work, the stories you share and your interesting opinions on things other than pie. Your newsletter is a pleasure to read.
Thank you so much, Martha. As a writer, I spend a lot of time lone. It's the nature of the craft I guess, so comments are one way that I know that I'm reaching others. 💕
This could certainly be speaking to a variety of situations, but the one that comes to my mind will get no forgiveness from me. That particular person neither wants nor even believes forgiveness is warranted, so greater spirits than mine can decide the outcome as that person no longer influences my life.
Thanks, Kate. I basically have put finish to the situation. As my grandmother would have said, "good riddance to bad rubbish." Or in more contemporary terms, "Done and dusted." I am enjoying catching up on your past letters. And I see that eventually I'm going to have to venture out of my Cottage Cheese Pie or Pumpkin Pie rut, although the bourbon fig one will not be it.
Brought tears to my eyes. Thank you.
Great song, thanks for sharing the lyrics.

I know that place, too, Marilee. Sometimes it's best to walk away. Be kind to yourself today. xo
What a song for our times. Maybe we can crack the case….
Let's hope so, Margery. 💗
