A heart-stopping moment. I’m so glad that nothing serious happened. Be safe out there! ❤️

That truly was a close one - glad you made it out okay!

Oh wow, Kate, I’m glad you’re okay! That sounds so scary. I have to admit your comment about the poo made me laugh, but only because of the juxtaposition with the scare from the car. Poo-stepping in the moment is never a laughing matter! Hopefully today has been better!

A lovely day. Walking, putzing, and packing for a little trip!

I'll trade poo stepping over no brakes on the I-5 freeway anyday. So grateful you and GP are safe and pooping at home.

I’ve never felt so good about poo before. 🤪

Wooo, I'm with Julia. Relieved you're safe and free of poo. Glad for the cup of tea. Repeat my family's motto: everything will be fine fine fine! and somehow it is.

The word from the repair shop is that I will need to completely replace the brakes. They are toast. The starter battery needs to be replaced, too. I am very grateful as this could have been so much worse than stepping in poo.

It could had! That was one scary almost. But it sounds like your car will pull through ok, too?

There are supply chain issues so getting the brake system may take some times. Sounds like the battery is easier to come by.

Well, I couldn't click on "like" because I don't like what happened to you one little bit! I am so thankful that you are well and uninjured! Life can turn against you on a dime, as I have learned this last winter. I spent most of it in the hospital with doctors trying to figure out what could possibly be wrong - many wrong guesses, and finally, FINALLY, an answer and a return to my old self. I think of it now as my "unfortunate incarceration" as the character Anthony Bouvier used to say on "Designing Women." But a small difference in timing, and a less-than-stellar reaction from you, could have resulted in something very dire, indeed! I am thrilled you are not having to face that kind of result.

oh my goodness, that is SO scary!! Glad you're ok. Poop at the end is a bummer tho. Poop is always a bummer!

Yup, but in this instance a small bummer.

Isn't dog poop good luck? Of course, you had already had your good luck for the day.

And I might be thinking of the incident of having bird poop on you while flying over.

Thank you, Jolene. One of my dear readers responded to me by email that it might be time for something a little stronger than herb tea. 🤪
