My daughter in law places a cherry at mouth of an empty wine bottle and hits fruit with a chopstick. Pits into bottle and then moves to next cherry…Pie looks great, Kate!

What variety of fresh sour cherry do you use? Frozen? (Do I remember something about Costco?)

I grow Montmorency and pick from neighbors trees. Unfortunately Costco no longer sells frozen sour cherries.
