SEnding you EXTRA love. It's an extraordinary time filled with anxiety. I'm not writing, but sorta baking. My editing work is slow, but a bit of distraction. I am sending you so much extra love that I hope it gives you hope and luck. You do so much for others, it's time we do more for you. I'm leaving a tip. I'm hoping more folks will.
Yesterday was spent cleaning the oven. And the whole time (hours) you were in my thoughts. The thoughts....I'll bet Kate never lets her oven get like this. No idea what spilled, or when, but it was a mess. Kate, you have taught me to love my kitchen and the activity that takes place there. My whole family loves you for that, and for just being you.
My mother is 73 and homeschooling her grandson. She still does hospice care too. But her favorite is teaching in the homeschool co-op. No money, but lots of rewards nonetheless
My husband lost his part-time job to DOGE. We are now living only on Social Security. Like you, if it goes or even gets cut, well, I don't want to think what will happen to us and our five cats. I'm meditating more and putting out loving vibes to our planet. That's what I can do, so I'm doing it.
I wish all of us who need help could found a community or communities to help each other.
Also you are XTRA wonderful Kate❤️
Oh Rachel! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ xoxoxo
Xtra beautiful and thoughtful post, Kate. Xx
Thank you my sweet friend! ❤️❤️

Thank you, Mary Jane. ❤️
Thank you, Kate. You always inspire.❤️
Dear Pam, thank you for being here! ❤️
Being a senior is fraught with the unexpected and being invisible with a sporadic dose of the miraculous & amazing I have found. Be well.
Well said, Susan! ❤️
I have a space in the one day pie class in May.
If another longer pie camp is offered, I’d be thrilled to attend that, too.
That would eXcite me🥧
Oh my goodness! If a spot opens up, I'll let you know! ❤️🥧❤️

Dearest Amy, Thank you so much! I dream of coming to one of your writing sessions sometime, too. 🥧❤️🥧

That is wonderful! I agree. P.S. I homeschooled my son too while working as a piano teacher.

I am so sorry, Mel, and you are so right about needing communities to come together to help.
