I'm glad to know I am not the only person who puts things in "clever spots" and then doesn't know where things are.... Ugh. But, the discoveries of other treasures is wonderful and a great trip down memory lane. Thank you for sharing your treasures with us. Have a wonderful week and enjoy Bosco--he is a cutie.
Ahh, Angelo--what a remarkable man! How fortunate you were to actually live with them (I'm trying to remember Mrs. Pellegrini's name). I spent many hours, talking, laughing, cooking, and eating with them and remember it all like yesterday (but I can't remember her name!). I remember so many stories and I must write them all down one of these days. Thanks for the memories, Kate, much appreciated.
Oh how amazing! I met his children and grandchildren after he passed away but didn't live with them. Sorry for the confusion. His wife's name was Virginia. How lucky you spent time with him! I do hope you will write about your time with them, Nancy.
Oh, yes, the clever places! Several years ago, my husband ordered a book on improving memory skills. And then some time after that he inadvertently ordered another copy. Well, you guessed it...ultimately we couldn't find either one!! Happy to see that Bosco is settling in and taking charge! Hmmm...wonder how his memory is! ❤️
We call them "black holes". Things just disappear into them! Sometimes, to be seen again, but usually, after we JUST re-purchase an item to replace the one in the black hole! It's MAGIC!!

Yes, he is! If he could climb the granny stairs up to the attic he might find a few things up there, too!
I can’t wait for the workshop!!
It's going to be amazing, Rachel!
Treasures indeed but you are also a treasure found! A belated welcome to Bosco 💙 It appears he is taking his work seriously!!
Oh thank you, Laura! And yes, he definitely takes this work seriously!

Bosco loves pillows!!
Yes, and we're really doing quite well understanding which are his and which are mine. He's a peach!
Merry Christmas to you & Bosco
Thank you, Susan! 🐾🌲👣

That's a great memory, Pam! Yup, my new guy is doing great.
Bosco is a fine bird unstuffer! Happy Holidays Kate.
Thank you! He takes his work seriously, too.
Bosco, bringing the culinary skills! 😆❤️
Oh yes! Can’t wait to see what he does with a rolling pin!
Ha!
What a cute photo of Bosco. He looks like a big stuffed animal himself! Love the other photos too. I never knew Henry Miller lived in Big Sur!
From 1944 to 1963 he lived in The Big Sur! Then he moved to Pacific Palisades.

Blessed Yule to you and Bosco!
Oh yes, so true.
And a blessed Yule and Solstice to you and yours, too, Mel!
That dog is a real cutie! With a face like that, you’ll forgive him anything!
*Almost* anything! 😉
Oh, oh, Bosco has gotten into a little bit of trouble. T is also for Trouble.
…and Touché!
I always enjoy your posts and look forward to the workshop! Happy Holidays!
It will be great to have you there!
