Across the nation— maybe the world — there is a line of the fortunate people who lucked in to sitting beside you! Miss you and love knowing your DC journey was marvelous.

An amazing trip! What a wonder to see the sites, and hear such a special concert.... not to mention the people met along the way! When I travel I think I am inspired to be more curious about the people around me.

Richard is one of the most talented artists I have ever had the privilege of hearing in person plus he is just a darn nice person, too.

What an amazing 24 hours! Thank you so much for sharing with us. Did Richard begin his musical journey in a strings class in public school? ❤️

He began playing at the age of five...first violin and then viola at age 15. I'm pretty sure he played in the public school classes, as well as a youth string orchestra directed by Phil Morgan-Ellis, and our Port Angeles Symphony. For as small as our area is, we have fostered an incredible amount of artists who have gone on to professional careers.

That viola sounds amazing. What an instrument! Of course, the person playing it has the ability to utilize to its full potential. 👏🏻

Richard is gifted. He'll be here again in August with Takacs String Quartet when they play at Music on The Strait. Hopefully you can come to one or some of the performances.

Thank you for sharing that amazing trip! And for reminding us that there are so many wonderful people out there along the way. I'm not one who usually talks to fellow travelers and I'm realizing just how much I am missing by not following your lead. I'll try to be braver on my next trip, thanks to you!
