I can almost smell the tart. Your kitchen must be a wonderful place

It's small, functional, and very homey! I hope you and yours can come to visit sometimes, Charles.

I always wait to smell my baked goods. I trust the scent more than my timer.

Oh, and I'm 72 and still have some of the pot holders I made like yours from when I was around 8 years old!

And we (and the potholders) are still going strong!

I see the steam and your homemade potholders. 💕 This is so steamy it should be rated PG, or GP for Greta Pie. Thank you for the pi-nsPIration. 💕🙏🏽💜

During Covid, I bought myself one of those little looms with loops. I blew through the loops pretty quickly and then bought more. I love bringing them out when I have a houseguest so they can make a set to take home as a little remembrance of our time together.

Do you have a recommendation for a loom for the potholders? Looks like there are so many choices. Thank you.

This may be what gives me the freedom to try my first Kate McDermott pie dough. Somehow it doesn’t seem as intimidating as a pie! I have all the ingredients, this may be the gentle nudge I needed.

It's easy peasy! When something doesn't turn out, I just get a baking dish, turn everything in to it, and call it a crumble!

I just finished breakfast here on Kaua'i, and now I'm hungry again--I can almost smell that lovely cinnamony aroma all the way over here!

I hope that someday I might come and bake one for you!
