I love how are one of the most prolific and productive humans I know, and you still have time to rabbit hole. It’s favorite past time, with a new subject every day. I like to say “squirrel!” when I jump from one hyper focused project to another. Maybe my roaming reasearch habits should be called “rabbit!”. Please do a podcast with Jolene, I’d love that. ❤️❤️

Ah, a sister rabbit/squirrel! Hopefully Jolene and I can figure out a time...after I convince her we really need to do this. 😉

Sometime I just might try the Hug Me Tight jacket. Hugs are always good. Right?

Love the cartoon.

It was pretty darn timely to have it show up when I was deep into all those old knitting tomes.

A "rabbit hole of history" 😜🤣 Yes! History is all about crawling through rabbit roles for years, and then emerging triumphantly from one of your own creation! Thanks so much for shouting out Non-Boring History, Kate. Roll up, folks! Now offering rabbit hole tours!

The first thing I saw was an offer to help me shrink my prostate, and then I realized that was an ad. :) What a lovely little song, and lovely folk singer to go with it! Thanks so much, Kate. Now you have me thinking I should write about my visit to Beatrix Potter's house . . . :)

Indeed you should!

(Ya gotta wonder how the ads are chosen for us.)

I don’t even know where to begin. I feel a ginormous, black rabbit hole in the waiting! I take offense at stockings for old people. Ha ha. Mostly because I am now old people and I might need them. I rather fancy a good rabbit hole. I am stuck on old postcards at the moment. And I love the calendar. I need this in my life! I’m stopping now or it will take me all day to comment on this. Like a rabbit hole creates a new rabbit hole! Off to be kind(er) today. xoxo

Be sure to bring your flashlight or, as the Brits call, your torch.

I went to school in Philadelphia in the early 70's. There was a little place where I would get my cheese steaks and they also had warm tuna sandwiches in french bread. I never knew you could heat up mayo and tuna in a sandwich and it just blew me away! I had forgotten all about those sandwiches! Thank you so much for the reminder! Your mom's recipe is in my recipe software now. I will make them!

The Kindness Calendar is so very needed in the world we live in now.

Bring on the podcast with Jolene! I am a subscriber to her Time Travel Kitchen, too!

We used to love them...well, at least, I did. Mom also made grilled tuna sandwiches...so delicious.

Being of the same vintage, Jolene and I have a lot of shared cultural history and laugh ourselves silly when we chat together.

Rabbits do it, so why not? Just don't let the fox catch you. The holes you found are fabulous, but I love seeing how you found each one. I can just see your head pop up and then you diving down another one. Great post. Everyone can relate. Unless they don't have internet.

And there is a possibility that one or more of the parlor games may be played in an upcoming very happy family event...more info on that coming up, too. No internet needed there either!

What wonderful rabbit holes you have shared! Hip, hip for beginning the year with a calendar of kindness, so thanks so much for that thoughtfulness, and finally, I can’t wait till tomorrow when I can start going down more of this particular rabbit hole❤️

And that was just a peek in to one of them! I love the calendar. So easy to be kind.

Omg Kate, this is so great! “Bed stockings for old people” who knew? And the cartoon! Wonderful post, thanks for the mention, I love our rabbit hole conversations, complete with links 🤣

Our conversations are so much fun, Jolene. I think we should do a podcast. It would be a hoot and who KNOWS where it would lead!
