I love that you used Frances Glessner Lee's forensic diorama! Sometimes it feels like murder to get all of the things that we feel we need to get done done. Simplify, enjoy, and "keep everything chilled, especially yourself"

We need an apron with a pie on it and the saying "Keep everything chilled." And somewhere the Pie Camp logo/name. Would make a great gift for pie makers! Just a thought.

Very timely post as I just returned from marathon grocery shopping. Thankfully my husband, his favorite holiday, was home to help unload. Tomorrow starts the pie baking. Happy Thanksgiving!

It is taking awhile to bounce back to holiday mode after two years with pretty much nothing, Covid time! "As I age," I try to simplify pretty much everything, holidays included. Your advice always nails it, Kate! ❤️

Thanks Kate, just what I needed today. I could feel myself beginning to wind up and took a breath! We're up to 3 pies...can't convince family of less so they will be helping with the journey.

That photo is hysterical! Is that a photo of a dollhouse? I didn't even notice the doll (body) at first. Love the old fashioned wallpaper. Good advice.

Found it! Frances Glessner Lee (1878–1962). She created "crime-scene dioramas that in the 1930s–40s to help homicide investigators 'convict the guilty, clear the innocent and find the truth in a nutshell.'" https://share.america.gov/the-woman-who-advanced-forensic-science/
