Hi Kate! What a great story and recipe for you to share with all of us. Thank you. What a wonderful day to spend cooking and spending time in your kitchen with your friend. Maybe someday you could come and visit my kitchen!

I truly hope you have a wonderful time on your trip, that it is filled with memories to cherish forever. I look forward to reading your words in November. Cathy 💚🥧

Thank you, Kate! I felt like I was in the kitchen with you. Cooking and baking with a friend is just the best way to spend time. A long walk in which we talk about food is another! ❤️

I was so pleased to see the candied quince recipe! I work as a part-time archivist at an historic home where hundred-year-old quince trees are still on the property. It is remembered that a family member used to make candied quince, but no one knew where the recipe had gone to. My guess is that it was all done by memory, with nothing written down. I am looking forward to using your posted recipe to bring back a little bit of the past!
