Simply put, I love scones. I love how easily they come together and how my cottage smells when they are just about to come out of the oven. Scones are a reminder to me that slowing down and enjoying a cup of tea or mug of coffee, especially if it is with a fresh baked treat, is part of good self-care. So, as we approach the winter holidaze, I would like to share this spiced up version of the Pie Cottage Scones I have been making for my family for decades.
RECIPE: GINGERBREAD SCONES
This makes 12-16 scones depending on how you slice the wedges. You can cut the recipe in half to make 6-8 scones.
