⬆ May at Pie Cottage
⬆ Apples for pies. I have six different trees, four of which looked like scraggly twigs when I planted them as scions years ago.
⬆ Kale for stir-fries, salads, and eggs with greens.
⬆ Looking forward to the first heads of broccoli.
⬆ Potatoes on the way for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
⬆ Three varieties of pears for pies on this little tree.
⬆ Snow peas for salads, stir-fries and snacking. And to their right you can see the individual “saunas” I’ve made for my tomatoes as it’s still a little cold out at night for them.
⬆ Collard greens, spinach, red lettuce, chard, mache, and baby basil.
⬆ The strawberry-rhubarb pie bed…
