Our world grows more chaotic by the day and I find myself wanting to turn away from the news but, as hard as it is to read and listen to the reports of what is going on, I feel it is important to keep up. To provide a bit of a break, enjoy this next installment of photos from last month’s walk on Jersey, Guernsey, and Sark. (All photos by me.)

What I’m Reading
Steady
by Dan Rather and Elliot Kirschner
I look forward to this Substack newsletter. Aptly named, I find it a steady voice in time of chaos.
What I’m Listening To
Madman Across the Water by Elton John
I have kept this post with its wonderful photos on my phone for days now, and I have revisited many times, just for a moment of sweetness and a chance to dream of being there. Thank you
Your photographs are so calming. I just love them.
I have a cute story about a song from that album. (Elton is one of my very favorite artists) I was having surgery on my hand and I woke up during it, under the surgical drape. The doctor had music playing and the song that was on was "Levon". Now, I dearly LOVE that song and I started singing as loud as I could "HE SHALL BE LEVON!" Scared the surgical team right out of their scrubs! *grin*
