An update: It’s been a little over two weeks since my visit to ER and I’m doing so much better. It doesn’t surprise me that I have some back challenges due to injuries and age that require some care. Mr Rogers said, “You will always find people who are helping because they will show up when you need them.” Well, they certainly have for me and the team that surrounds me is THE BEST.
Today, I’m sharing a few thoughts on harmony and balance which were sparked by a recent conversation with a friend.
Creating Harmony
In music, a melody can be supported by chords and together they make a cohesive whole—a harmony. In our lives, harmony can be a feeling of calm, tranquility, and peace. Relationships with family, friends, and lovers can be in harmony. We can find harmony with individuals and groups of people, too, but no matter how much we enjoy what we are doing or how fun it is, the conscious effort of creating harmony can be work. Connections, relationships, projects, and events may appear to be seamless and easy but the work it took for them to appear effortless often times isn’t visible.
