#16: The Big Ask

Imagine, Ask, Believe, Receive

I’m really really enjoying writing this missive as I feel that I can just talk to you about anything…my early life, what I’m reading, eating, teaching, thinking, and how I feel about everything.

I love making connections between food, words, and music.

I love sharing stories with you about my chickens, my garden, my family, and what I think about when I walk the bluff.

I love that it has started to rain outside.

I love that my tiny winter starts are growing and that soon it will be time to plant them and my garlic.

I love that soup weather and long winter nights are soon to come, and I look forward to huddling around the wood-stove with a coffee mug, dog and cat.

I wear a bracelet that has four words stamped on it.

Imagine. Ask. Believe. Receive.

But, I believe there is another word that sets this all in motion and that word is Give.

It truly is a dream of mine to be able to do everything for free, but I haven’t figured out how to pay the bills with free. So here comes the big ask.
