obsolescence
ob·so·les·cence | ˌäbsəˈlesəns

noun

the process of becoming obsolete or outdated and no longer used: computers are infamous for their rapid obsolescence

Not only computers, but phones, printers, monitors, software…all that electronic gizmo stuff that was supposed to make my life so much easier and trouble-free… and hasn’t. Over the decades, I’ve invested in some pretty expensive stuff and I know I’m not alone in that. Here’s a partial list.

Adobe Desktop Version for Mac

  • Photoshop

  • Illustrator

  • InDesign

  • Acrobat Pro

  • Lightroom

Intuit

  • Quicken

  • Quickbooks

Phones, Pads, Computers, External Hard Drives,Monitors, and Printers

  • 4 iPhones, 1 Android, 1 iPad

  • 5 Macbooks, 1 Dell Desktop

  • 1 Apple Cinema Monitor, 1 Dell Monitor

  • 3 or 4 Printers

Cables and Connectors

  • Too many to count or even remember what they are for

If I added them all up, it would be more than the down payment for Pie Cottage!
