I can’t remember the last time I was in an elevator. It’s a Covid moment. I never know from day to day what I’m going to do, who I’m going to see, and what typos might come though my fumbling fingers. My life is like a stream of fey consciousness.
Here’s what’s coming…
Food: I’ll bite. A recipe about writing a recipe.
Gardening: I build a new compost pile at 5AM in the morning because, on day three of a cataclysmic heat bubble parked over the PNW, it’s the only time that is cool enough. I hear applause from 3000 miles away. The chickens could care less.
Books: Oh yes. An important PSA…please please please model reading for your kids. Read to them and with them…preferably with real books from your library or indie bookstore. How about a family and friends read-aloud night or is that just too twee?
What Were We Talking About: Where I try to figure out who, what, where, when, and why…if I remember.
Everyone needs a clown suit.
Welcome to my world.
Kate
Perfectly Twee. Like a literary potato peel pie society! 🤔
Wow - that clown outfit is adorable. It looks so professional. Did your mom make it?
